What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mason City School District - Academic Intervention Paraprofessional (Math) position at Mason City School District?
Works under the supervision of the building LCSS lead administrator.
Collaborates with the LCSS lead administrator, Learning Experience Designer (LED), intervention specialists, and classroom teachers to support and coordinate instruction.
Provides targeted support to students in small group settings, either within the classroom or in a designated pull-out environment.
Implements research-based interventions and applies accommodations/modifications as directed by instructional staff.
Assists in the collection and documentation of student performance data to monitor progress and inform instruction.
Supports grade-level and school-wide assessments used to identify and respond to student needs.
Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse backgrounds, values, and family structures.
Maintains confidentiality and upholds professional respect for students, staff, and families.
Participates in professional learning opportunities as directed by building or district administration.
Performs other duties as assigned by the building administrator or designee.
