Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our client in searching for a Sales Assistant in Charlotte NC to support our front counter and inside sales operations at a growing construction sales company.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who is interested in building a long-term career in sales, with a clear path toward Inside and Outside Sales roles, and plays a key part in customer interaction, order processing, inventory coordination, and daily branch operations.

⏰ Schedule: Full-Time | On-site
💲 Starting Pay: $20 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Greet walk-in customers and handle incoming calls professionally
- Support inside sales by taking customer orders and preparing invoices
- Accurately document orders and organize related paperwork
- Investigate equipment returns for missing items and invoice customers accordingly
Operations & Coordination
- Communicate customer orders to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Dispatch vehicles for timely pickups and deliveries
Inventory & Administrative Duties
- Assist with inventory control following company procedures
- Manage petty cash, credit card logs, and daily deposits
- Reconcile and file paperwork daily
Training & Development
- Participate in ongoing training with the Branch Manager
- Build product knowledge and inside sales expertise
- Develop skills for potential advancement into Outside Sales
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills (prior experience preferred)
- Basic math and accounting ability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work well on a team
- Quick learner comfortable handling multiple responsibilities
