Masis Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing client to hire a Manufacturing Planner in East Longmeadow, MA. Position is temp-to-perm and 100% onsite (not remote or hybrid) with excellent long-term career potential with an established company continuing rapid growth and expansion.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring effective preparation of production schedules based on production requirements to ensure timely delivery.
Position Type: Temp to perm (100% onsite)
Pay: Up to $33 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 6:30am to 3:15pm
Key Responsibilities
- Align production schedules and equipment capacity to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Align material flow functions.
- Prepare and issue regular and timely production reports.
- Track, monitor, and coordinate material shipments and deliveries.
- Assist with material planning and scheduling to support production requirements.
- Collaborate with all functional areas of Operations to achieve regional and global client requirements.
- Participate in strategic initiatives to enhance performance
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of production planning and planning systems.
- Understanding of manufacturing and inventory control.
- SAP experience preferred along with MS Office proficiency
- Minimum 2-year business degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Solid analytical skills and the ability to collect and interpret data effectively.
- Team player with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
