Contract to Direct Hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to design comprehensive onboarding programs, performance development plans, and employee improvement strategies.
- Provide expert counsel to managers and supervisors on employment practices, performance management, and policy interpretation, ensuring compliance and consistency.
- Facilitate resolution of employee relations issues through objective investigations and coaching, fostering a supportive work environment.
- Lead and participate in core HR functions including employment administration, onboarding and offboarding processes, compensation and benefits management, leaves, workers’ compensation, employee engagement, and performance reviews.
- Conduct salary market research and support compensation planning initiatives to remain competitive.
- Design and deliver engaging onboarding and offboarding presentations, trainings, and lifecycle processes, including conducting exit interviews to gather actionable feedback.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendor queries related to benefits, unemployment claims, employment verifications, and related surveys.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive HR records, reports, and metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Support recruitment efforts by assisting in candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Prepare bilingual (English/Spanish) communications, training materials, and company-wide announcements to ensure clear and inclusive messaging.
- Administer HRIS transactions and maintain manual and electronic personnel files, working closely with payroll to ensure accurate pay and benefits.
- Assist with legal and labor relations matters and contribute to special projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate and oversee team member events and engagement activities.
- Develop, deliver, and facilitate employee training programs to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall HR function.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; a minimum of two years of relevant HR experience or equivalent combination of education and training.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with precision and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, with fact-based analysis and solution development.
- Ability to quickly learn new technology, policies, and processes.
- Maintains objectivity and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Flexibility to work occasional second and third shifts for company events, employee meetings, or coverage.
- Ability to travel to Massachusetts locations as necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
