Masis Professional Group is recruiting for a Industrial Maintenance Technician on behalf of our client located in Leominster, MA. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Qualifications of the Industrial Maintenance Technician:
- 5 years' experience with machinery and electrical controls in a production or manufacturing environment required.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direction and have a positive outlook.
- Electrical knowledge including PLC and schematic reading required – troubleshooting electrical and control issues (job is only 10% electrical but electrical knowledge is 90% of the requirement of being hired).
- Mechanical pneumatic aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
- Must be able to document work performed and maintain related records.
- Manage and execute Preventative Maintenance as required for all equipment.
- Excellent communication, organizational leadership and teambuilding skills.
- Good computer, interpersonal, leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to read and write in English – Bi -lingual / Spanish a Plus.
Responsibilities of the Industrial Maintenance Technician:
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating preventive maintenance on a routine schedule and troubleshoot and repair breakdowns.
- Order preplacement parts, tools and equipment as needed.
- Team with all departments to ensure employee conflicts and concerns are addressed immediately and appropriately.
- Execute, maintain and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), HACCP, SOPs, SOOPs and safety guidelines always.
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the facility conditions to meet necessary safety and food safety standards
- Responsible for coordinating and communicating with all equipment OEM and facility
- contractors
- Help make decisions on Capital Equipment purchases
- Communicate all safety and sanitation concerns.
- All other duties assigned.

- The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see, and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Stooping and bending may be below the knees lifting and reaching may be above the shoulders. Grasping, pushing, pulling as needed. While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to crouch, kneel, pull, push, lift, reach, grasp, squat, stand, stoop and walk on uneven surfaces. At times the employee may be required to work outside.
