Mid-Level Associate Attorney – Medical Malpractice Defense / Long-Term Care Litigation

A well-established litigation law firm in Boston is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its growing Medical Malpractice Defense and Long-Term Care Facilities litigation practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3–5 years of relevant civil litigation experience who is looking to take greater ownership of cases while continuing to develop alongside experienced litigation partners. The position offers substantive case responsibility, direct client interaction, hands-on litigation experience, and meaningful opportunities to participate in depositions, hearings, and trials. The Associate will manage matters throughout the litigation lifecycle, including drafting pleadings and motions, handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, conducting legal research, preparing case strategy, and maintaining regular communication with clients, experts, and other parties.
Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active admission to the Massachusetts Bar
- 3–5 years of Medical Malpractice Defense and/or Long-Term Care Facility Defense experience
- Experience practicing in Massachusetts courts
- Experience taking and defending depositions and managing discovery
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions
- Ability to independently manage deadlines and move cases forward
- Strong client communication and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits:
