Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a W/WW Engineering Division Chief located at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. Responsibilities for this position include: Develops and oversees planning, operations, and service delivery for the Water and Wastewater Division. Responsible for directing and prioritizing multidisciplinary programs and projects related to the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities. Ensures effective site management, regulatory compliance, and documentation across all phases of infrastructure development and service provision. Develops and administers engineering and operational programs that support the Division’s mission, including capital improvement initiatives, asset management, and emergency response planning. Provides leadership in optimizing system performance, advancing sustainability goals, and delivering high-quality services to internal and external clients. Collaborates with stakeholders to align division priorities with broader organizational objectives and ensures continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and innovation. Estimated Pay Range: $118,448.33 - $162,866.03 Salary range reflects the full classification range. Compensation above the midpoint may be considered based on experience and qualifications, subject to approval. The existing midpoint for this classification is $162,866.03.
