Mary Wade is seeking an Assistant Director of Clinical Services (ADNS) to assist the Director of Clinical Services in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Home’s nursing services for our Skilled Nursing Unit.
Schedule: Full-Time
Annual Salary - $112,320 to $116,480 (Commensurate with experience)
Ability to be On-Call on Weekends is required. The On-Call rotation is shared with other nurses

ADNS Responsibilities:
- Recommends and assists with the development of organizational structure and standards of performance.
- Responsible for ensuring Quality Assurance for all resident documentation.
- Establishes and runs regularly-scheduled quality assurance meetings to ensure consistent standards of care.
- Plans, organizes, develops, implement, and interprets the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.
- Supervises nursing staff to ensure continual upgrade and improvement in the nursing care of the residents.
- Participates in the development and implementation of resident care policies and brings resident care problems requiring changes in policy to the attention of the professional policy advisory groups.
- Assures that a nursing care plan is established for each patient and that this plan is reviewed and modified as needed.
- In the absence of the Director, is responsible for staff personnel; i.e., evaluation of job performance, training, recruitment, counseling and discussion, recommendations regarding termination or continuance of employment, etc.
- Initiates studies to evaluate effectiveness of nursing services in relation to objectives and costs.
- Available to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary. Scheduled hours may change to meet facility needs.
- Effectively communicates to appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations.
- Assists with the scheduling of daily assignments of duties for nursing staff to assure 24 hour coverage.
- Audits CNAs and nursing staff to ensure quality patient care
- Supplements RN Staffing on Skilled Care Units as needed.
Assistant Director of Clinical Services Qualifications:
- Long Term experience preferred but not required
- Nurse with current CT RN license in good standing
- Must possess strong nursing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Supervisor skills and prior experience a plus
- Detail oriented
- Quick to advise Administrator/DNS as needed
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Foster strong working relationships will all staff
- Communicate clearly with resident, family and staff
Qualifications
Salary : $112,320 - $116,480
