Store Clerk

Martin Wine Cellar is looking for a Store Clerk to join our team. Our ideal Store Clerk is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged.

Store Clerk Responsibilities:

• Stocking and fronting shelves
• Pulling orders
• Assisting in the warehouse with incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Assisting with deli side operations if/as needed
• Maintaining the overall organization of the store and warehouse
• Managing transactions using a cash register
• Assisting customers by bagging goods and offering carry outs
• Providing customer assistance by phone and in person
• Delivering gift, wine and spirits orders
• Assisting with custom gift wrapping if needed

Store Clerk Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience: One (1) year related experience preferred (e.g., cashier experience, familiarity with POS systems); exceptional customer service skills
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license, company auto insurance approval, and Responsible Vendor Certification (may be obtained upon hire)
• Skills: Reading and writing
• Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted; others as described during our interview process
• Weekday and Weekend availability

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 / hour
