Martin Wine Cellar is looking for a Store Clerk to join our team. Our ideal Store Clerk is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged.
Store Clerk Responsibilities:
- Stocking and fronting shelves
- Pulling orders
- Assisting in the warehouse with incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Assisting with deli side operations if/as needed
- Maintaining the overall organization of the store and warehouse
- Managing transactions using a cash register
- Assisting customers by bagging goods and offering carry outs
- Providing customer assistance by phone and in person
- Delivering gift, wine and spirits orders
- Assisting with custom gift wrapping if needed
Store Clerk Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience: One (1) year related experience preferred (e.g., cashier experience, familiarity with POS systems); exceptional customer service skills
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license, company auto insurance approval, and Responsible Vendor Certification (may be obtained upon hire)
- Skills: Reading and writing
- Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted; others as described during our interview process
- Weekday and Weekend availability
