- Summary**: As a member of the Martin's family, the Point of Sale Specialist II assists with all aspects of Scan Based Trading (SBT) and Billing weekly settlement.

- Utilizes strong analytical skills to communicate discrepancies and suggest ways to resolve issues
- Works with internal (i.e. sales, MIS, accounting teams) and external stakeholders to ensure smooth SBT rollouts.
- Assists with coordinating POS communication of information between departments internally and externally.
- Review/analyze different chains portals to ensure correct pricing and sales
- Document and maintains written instructions for all POS processes
- Aligns with best practices and plans with big picture in mind
- Verifies that all Point of Sale (POS) was properly given to Wholesalers, Independent Distributors, and Company routes
- Identify and investigate discrepancies between expected and actual POS scans, resolving issues in a timely manner to support accurate billing settlement
- Analyze POS data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies across stores, categories, and products
- Collaborate closely with the Billing Manager to ensure POS data aligns with invoicing and settlement processes
- Correct and resolve POS issues promptly to prevent delays in billing cycles and financial reconciliation
- Works with Scan Based Trading (SBT) Process Specialist to ensure smooth SBT rollouts
- Maintain detailed documentation of POS reviews, corrections, and identified trends for reporting purposes
- Audit POS data at both the chain-store and individual product levels to confirm accurate receipt and recording of POS
- Utilize reporting tools and software to visualize POS data and present trend analysis to stakeholders
- Build and develop detailed reports that clearly communicate POS performance, discrepancies, and actionable insights
- Communicate findings and recommended corrections to External and internal stakeholders

- Provide training to internal team members
- Adjusts POS scans as needed
- Researches and resolves POS Wholesaler Settlement questions (WSS)
- Providing excellent Customer service to Wholesaler and independent Operators
- Maintain and heathy work environment with SBT and Billing team
- Review and validate Point of Sale (POS) data to ensure accuracy and completeness across all store locations
- Verify that all promotions, discounts, and pricing adjustments are correctly reflected in the POS system prior to settlement

- Education and/or Experience**:
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or related area
- Three or more years of industry knowledge and/or business experience;
