What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety and Compliance Specialist position at Martian Express?
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Safety & Compliance Specialist with strong knowledge of trucking and FMCSA/DOT requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
DQF management and driver compliance
CDL, Medical Card, MVR, PSP & Clearinghouse checks
Driver onboarding and qualification
IRP, IFTA, registrations & permits
Truck/trailer compliance and annual inspections
Track all renewals and expiration dates
Maintain accurate DOT and compliance records
Identify and resolve compliance issues before they become violations
Requirements: Previous trucking safety/compliance experience, strong attention to detail, excellent follow-up skills, and the ability to independently manage driver and fleet compliance.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
