What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

• Leading and coordinating site safety programs, including induction, toolbox talks, and continuous safety communication
• Conducting daily safety inspections, audits and compliance reviews across active construction areas
• Managing incident reporting, investigation and corrective action processes
• Developing and implementing site-specific safety plans aligned with OSHA standards and company policy
• Coordinating with project managers, subcontractors and trades to embed safety into construction sequences and work planning
• Maintaining safety documentation, records and reporting for regulatory compliance
• Supporting safety culture initiatives and working to reduce incidents and near-misses across the site

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

Must-have

• 5-10 years' experience in construction site safety management or a related safety discipline
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification or equivalent safety qualification
• Current First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, construction safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits and incident investigations
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field

Nice-to-have

• NEBOSH or equivalent advanced safety certification
• Experience managing safety on large, multi-phase construction projects
• Familiarity with safety management software and documentation systems
