Marshfield Chevrolet is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Pre-Owned Vehicle Reconditioning Specialist to join our growing team!
This position plays an important role in preparing our pre-owned inventory for sale. From inspecting vehicles and completing minor repairs to ensuring every vehicle is clean, safe, and ready for the lot, you'll help us deliver the quality our customers expect.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect incoming pre-owned vehicles and identify reconditioning needs
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and routine maintenance
- Complete oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and other general maintenance
- Address minor cosmetic and mechanical concerns
- Coordinate with the service department on repairs requiring additional diagnostics
- Assist with vehicle detailing and final lot preparation
- Ensure vehicles meet dealership quality standards before being offered for sale
- Help maintain an organized and efficient reconditioning process
- Work with sales and service management to get vehicles retail-ready quickly
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Automotive maintenance or repair experience preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple vehicles
- Dependable, organized, and motivated
- Valid driver's license
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
