Part-time (0.75 FTE), 9-month (AY Fall and Spring), clinical track position on the Huntington Campus/South Charleston Campus
The Department of Nursing, in the College of Health Professions invites applications for a Clinical Track position at the Assistant Professor rank beginning January 2026. Teaching responsibilities may include classroom and clinical instruction in the Pre-Licensure BSN and/or BA/BS to BSN Program in med-surg/fundamental nursing. Other duties include academic advising of students, participation in ongoing curriculum development and evaluation, committee assignments, and active engagement in scholarly activities.
Location MUGC - Marshall University South Charleston Salary Range Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity.

Qualifications
Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
Required Qualifications
Education
Applicants must have a master’s degree in nursing, and a doctoral degree in nursing is preferred. Must hold an unencumbered license (or be eligible for licensure) as an RN in West Virginia.
Experience
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in medical-surgical nursing is required. A minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience is highly recommended.
