Key Responsibilities
- Research Execution: Design, conduct, and analyze complex experiments related to bacterial pathogenesis, host-pathogen interactions, and microbial genetics.
- In Vivo Modeling: Utilize and manage animal models, including murine (mouse) systems, to investigate the complexities of bacterial infections and test novel therapeutics.
- Molecular Biology: Perform advanced molecular techniques, including gene expression analysis, RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq), proteomics, and basic bioinformatics.
- Dissemination of Data: Prepare high-quality manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present research findings at national and international conferences.
- Lab Leadership & Mentorship: Assist in the daily operations of the lab, including the supervision, training, and mentorship of junior lab members, technicians, and students.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Ph.D., MD/Ph.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field.
Experience

- Hands-on experience with in vivo murine models.
