Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Roofing Field Sales Manager to develop, coach, and elevate our sales team. This role is ideal for a high-performing roofing sales professional who excels at in-home selling and is passionate about mentoring others. The trainer will work directly in the field with sales representatives, helping them improve their skills from lead generation through closing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of outside Sales Representatives focused on residential roofing repairs.
• Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to increase market share
• Conduct ride-alongs and in-field coaching to improve sales performance
• Teach in-home sales techniques, product knowledge, and closing strategies
• Cultivate relationships with insurance agents, property managers, and homeowners to generate new leads
• Assist reps with roof inspections, estimates, and customer presentations
• Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze performance metrics and optimize outreach strategies.
• Develop and implement sales training programs and materials
• Monitor individual and team performance metrics and provide feedback
• Reinforce company sales processes, scripts, and best practices
• Support underperforming reps with targeted coaching plans
• Stay current on roofing products, insurance processes, and industry trends
• Collaborate with leadership to improve sales systems and training effectiveness

Qualifications

• 3 to5 years of residential roofing sales experience (Required)
• Proven track record of high sales performance and closing ability
• 1to 2 years of sales training, coaching, or leadership experience (preferred)
• Strong in-home sales experience
• Comfortable climbing roofs and working in field environments (Required)
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentorship skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to travel locally for field training and ride-alongs

• Strong background in B2B sales, marketing, and technology-driven sales strategies
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for tracking and analysis

Pay: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
