Press Brake Machine Operator

Responsibilities:Set up, adjust, and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal per engineering specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine bend sequences and dimensionsMeasure parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools to ensure quality standards are metDeburr and finish metal components to remove sharp edges and prepare parts for further processingSafely load and unload raw materials and finished components while maintaining efficient workflowPerform routine inspections, minor maintenance, and basic adjustments to press brake equipmentCollaborate with quality assurance and production teams to resolve issues related to part accuracy or machine performanceFollow all safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe and productive work environmentMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentProven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environmentAbility to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsProficiency with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipersBasic knowledge of sheet metal properties and safe handling techniquesPreferred Qualifications:Certification or formal training in press brake operation or metal fabricationExperience with punch press machines or other metalworking equipmentFamiliarity with CNC press brake programming and setupStrong understanding of material handling best practices and safety standardsPrevious experience in durable goods manufacturing or a similar industrial settingWork Environment:Work performed on the production floor of a manufacturing facilityPhysical Demands:Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, bend, and stoop in a manufacturing environmentCapable of lifting up to 40 pounds on occasionReasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functionsCompany DescriptionMarquee Staffing has built a reputation on expert local market knowledge, unparalleled personalized service and the ability to deliver winning candidates and job opportunities.Marquee operates offices located conveniently throughout Southern California.
