Set Up CNC Machine Operator

Leading Medical Manufacturing Company seeking to hire a Set-Up Floater in the Machine Shop! The Set-up Floater is responsible for the setup of Swiss-style CNC screw machines. This position ensures that machines are properly set-up with efficiency, precision, and quality. The Set-up Floater works with the Lead Machinists, moving between multiple machines as needed to provide support in setting up new jobs and troubleshooting issues. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, troubleshooting and the ability to quickly adapt to different machine setups in a fast-paced environment.Additionally, the Set-up Floater ensures all safety protocols are followed and that the work area is keptclean and organized to meet the standards of excellence required by internal and external customers andin compliance with domestic and international regulatory requirements to deliver the highest qualityproducts. Perform other duties from time to time as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Machine Setup: Perform initial set-up for Swiss screw machines.Tooling: Set tools, inserts, and other components into machines as per job specifications.Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues during setup, adjusting as necessary.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of setups.Training Support: Assist in training new employees and operators on machine setup procedures,maintenance tasks, and safety standards.Education, Experience, Skills, & Abilities:Previous cGMP and/or ISO experience preferred Ability to work with small parts and perform repetitive functions dailyAbility to show proficiency on CNC screw machine(s)Good organizational skills and attention to detailHigh School diploma or equivalentMinimum 5 years CNC screw machine experience/general machining ability (measuring devices/blueprints)Ability to work with limited or no supervisionShift 6am-2:30pmLocation: Escondido Ca.Salary Range: $28.00-$30.00 hr DOECompany DescriptionMarquee Staffing has built a reputation on expert local market knowledge, unparalleled personalized service and the ability to deliver winning candidates and job opportunities.Marquee operates offices located conveniently throughout Southern California.
