Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures as required.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record system (Experity - there will be training).
- Assist in managing urgent care operations to ensure efficient workflow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care outcomes.
- Stay updated on best practices in urgent care medicine.
- Current Physician Assistant license in California.
- Experience in urgent care or outpatient settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and basic life support protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems or computer savvy.
