Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Physician Assistant located in Newport Beach, CA. The Physician Assistant will work closely with Dr. Nikravan to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care to patients. Day-to-day tasks will include conducting patient interviews, taking detailed medical histories, ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests, and formulating treatment plans. The role also involves educating patients on management strategies for endocrine conditions and supporting continuity of care for long-term outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficient in clinical skills such as patient assessment, diagnostic test ordering, and treatment planning
- Knowledge of endocrinology, including thyroid disorders, diabetes, and metabolic diseases
- Strong communication skills for patient education and inter-professional collaboration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program and current licensure in California
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant (NCCPA) and BLS/ACLS certification
- Previous experience in endocrinology or internal medicine is preferred
