We are seeking a talented and passionate part time Chef to work our culinary team in delivering outstanding Jamaican/ Caribbean cuisine on Sundays . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and culinary arts, with the ability to create innovative menus while ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. The Chef will play a crucial role in maintaining outstanding cuisine.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customerpreferences.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their culinary skills and performance.
- Administer inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maintain cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure high standards of food presentation and taste for all dishes served, including banquet events.
- Monitor food quality throughout preparation and service to ensure consistency and excellence.
