· Own shipment execution from request through final delivery, coordinating with customers, warehouses, forwarding, drayage, project logistics, and other partners.
· Monitor shipments, communicate status and delays proactively, resolve carrier, equipment, access, routing, and delivery exceptions, and escalate when appropriate.
· Prepare transportation quotations, negotiate carrier costs, monitor shipment expenses and gross profit, and improve pricing and operational efficiency.
· Maintain rate confirmations, bills of lading, permits, proof-of-delivery documents, and accurate shipment records; support billing and performance reporting.
· Identify recurring execution or communication gaps and improve carrier coordination, documentation, service reliability, and workflows.
