The Service Technician brings a broad range of expertise and thrives on solving difficult problems.
This role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing:
- Fuel dispensers
- Submersible fuel pumps, above ground and underground storage tanks
- Service station site controllers, Credit card readers, Cash register consoles
- Pumping PCW systems
- Tank and line monitoring equipment
Successful technicians follow these core habits:
Work in a safe manner.
Responsible for following customer's safety and housekeeping guidelines when performing repairs at customer site.
Understand and comply with applicable fire safety, OSHA, and EPA rules and regulations.
Observes, analyzes, and determines action for service and repair of equipment.
Performs necessary repairs to correct analyzed situations in a professional and productive manner.
Performs repairs and scheduled maintenance on equipment
Performs factory authorized modifications per specifications.
Responsible for maintaining tools required for performing the job effectively and safely.
Resolve warranty calls on dispensers and tank monitors.
Perform break fix and preventative maintenance on electronics, computers, and the fuel dispensing systems, including electronic, plumbing and mechanical work.
Provide exceptional customer service by completing all assigned tasks efficiently and cost-effectively, always striving to exceed expectations.
Collaborate with the service project crew and support lead technicians during equipment start-up and commissioning.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or relevant certifications preferred.
Adaptability: Ability to adjust to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Must have a valid Driver License.
- Familiarity with computer operations and an aptitude for learning computer skills.
- Gilbarco Dispenser certification and Veeder Root Tank Monitor certification, preferred however will train.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.
- Must be able to meet company's employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company.
