Position Overview
The Senior Manager, InsightsLab is a strategic client leader responsible for driving measurable growth and strengthening MPG’s Walmart business through advanced analytics, proactive insight generation, and executive-level influence.
This role elevates InsightsLab from reporting to forward-looking strategy by anticipating risks and opportunities before they appear in standard dashboards. The Senior Manager connects POS, inventory, supply chain, digital, syndicated, shopper, and modular data to diagnose performance drivers and translate them into actions aligned with Walmart’s APET framework and merchant priorities.
The position will support multiple client/category strategies, expanding Scintilla Charter engagements, lead complex deep dive analyses tied to pre- and post-line reviews, and serve as a trusted advisor to Sales leadership and Walmart-facing teams.
Candidates must be currently located in the Bentonville, AR area or willing to relocate at their own expense, as relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Insight Development
- Integrate retailer POS, inventory, supply chain, digital, syndicated (NIQ/Circana), consumer panel (NIQ/Numerator), and modular data into cohesive strategic narratives.
- Develop “So What” insights that translate complex datasets into actionable business decisions.
- Align insights directly to Walmart’s APET framework and merchant decision-making processes.
- Guide teams through ambiguity and shifting retailer priorities.
- Deliver concise, confident, and financially grounded recommendations to Sales leadership and executive stakeholders
- Experience with advanced strategic storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Champion cross-retailer and cross-category learnings that inform broader corporate strategy
- Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and broader Insights teams to align recommendations with execution realities
- Act as a trusted advisor to Walmart-facing teams
- Lead initiatives that bridge analytical insight with commercial strategy
- Serve as a category/channel strategy owner and people development leader
- Raise analytical rigor and strategic framing across the Walmart Insights team
- Develop scalable analytical frameworks to support expanding client base
Required Experience and Education
- Scintilla Charter experience; Advanced Modules (Shopper Behavior, Assortment Deep Dive) preferred
- Experience with syndicated POS/Omni data (NIQ, Circana)
- Experience with consumer panel data (NIQ, Numerator)
- Business Intelligence tools experience (Power BI, Domo preferred)
- Multi-category strategic leadership experience
