What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatch Dispatcher position at Marinette County Government?
Receive and process 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire, rescue and related services; track call activity into a computer aided dispatch program; monitor and operate a dispatch radio console to keep responders connected and informed.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; three years of experience in a clerical/receptionist field or in the police, fire, nursing or EMS field; insurance acceptable driver’s license; TIME System Certification within six months of hire; successful completion of fingerprinting and background check as required by CJIS – Security Policy within 15 days of hire and successful recheck according to time frame indicated in Policy while in applicable position.

- $26.18 - $31.76/hour
- Shift Differential Pay – $2.00/hour.
- 40-Hour Fill positions earn extra $1.00/hour for every hour worked
- 36/40/48 Hours/week, including weekends and holidays.
