Marinetek North America is seeking an experienced Florida Sales Manager to drive sales growth throughout the state of Florida and surrounding markets. This position is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with marina owners, marine contractors, engineers, developers, municipalities, port authorities, and waterfront stakeholders, and managing projects from initial opportunity through contract award.
The ideal candidate has experience in marine construction, marina development, floating dock systems, waterfront infrastructure, seawalls, pile-supported structures, or related construction products and possesses an established network within the Florida marine industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy for Florida and assigned territories.
- Identify and pursue new marina, waterfront, municipal, and commercial marine infrastructure opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with marina owners, developers, engineers, architects, contractors, consultants, and government agencies.
- Generate leads through networking, industry events, trade associations, and direct outreach.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, presentations, and project solutions.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and production teams during project development.
- Track opportunities and customer activity in HubSpot CRM.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
- Conduct site visits, customer meetings, industry conferences, and trade shows.
- Assist with contract negotiations and project handoff to operations.
- Achieve annual sales and profitability objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience.
- Experience in marine construction, marina systems, floating docks, seawalls, precast concrete, waterfront development, commercial construction, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Established network within the Florida marine industry preferred.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Florida.

- Marina and waterfront development projects.
- Public bid projects and municipal procurement.
- Marine infrastructure, floating docks, breakwaters, or precast concrete products.
- Working with engineers, consultants, and design professionals.
- Construction estimating or project management experience.
