Our team works directly with cemeteries, funeral homes, and industry professionals, providing both equipment solutions and hands-on expertise that keep operations running smoothly.
We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager based in Central Florida who is equal parts sales professional, field technician, and relationship builder.
What Makes This Role DifferentThis is not a desk job and not a traditional “order-taker” sales role. You’ll be:
- In cemeteries and funeral homes weekly
- Performing hands-on equipment repairs and service
- Demonstrating specialized products in real-world settings
- Acting as a trusted advisor in a niche, relationship-driven industry
- Develop and grow your territory Build strong, long-term relationships with cemeteries, funeral homes.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities consistently
- Field service & technical support Perform on-site repairs and maintenance of casket lowering devices and cemetery equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues independently and efficiently
- Product demonstrations & educationConduct live product demos in the field and at trade shows
- Educate clients on best practices, safety, and equipment usage
- Sales executionGenerate and qualify leads through field activity and networking
- Manage pipeline and close deals to meet or exceed territory goals
- Territory managementTravel frequently throughout Central Florida (and occasionally beyond)
- Maintain organized records of sales activity, service calls, and customer interactions
- Team collaborationCommunicate effectively with internal teams including service, sales, and operations
- Provide field insights to help improve products and strategy
- 3–5 years of sales experience (outside sales preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude is required – you must be comfortable using tools and working with equipment
- Strong discipline and ability to work independently in the field
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with frequent travel and being on the road most days
- Experience with CRM systems (NetSuite preferred, but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
- Experience in funeral service, cemetery operations, or related industries
- Background in equipment service, repair, or technical roles
- Trade show or live demonstration experience
- You become the go-to person in your territory for both service and sales
- Clients trust you not just to sell but to solve problems on the spot
- You consistently generate new opportunities while maintaining strong existing relationships
