Major Duties and Works with general supervision to prepare materials and set up special education Responsibilities: Classrooms for training and instruction. Participates and assists in lesson planning and carrying out supervisor assigned tasks to reinforce instruction and/or tutor students. Performs a wide variety of related tasks to assist and care for students with moderate/ severe educational needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
Requires the perception and ability to foster student development in an assigned special education program. This position also required a High School diploma or recognized equivalent and the passage of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Instructional Assistant Competency test.
Condition of Employment: Employees are required to submit to a Department of Justice background check and provide proof of freedom from tuberculosis and vaccination of Measles. • Three recent letters of recommendation (optional but preferred) • Letter of interest • Current resume
