Job Summary
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Conducts health services in the special education programs for the evaluation, improvement, and protection of the health of the children and program personnel in accordance with state law and policies and procedures. Maintains adequate and appropriate health forms and records, first aid, and emergency equipment, supplies, and procedures. Promotes First Aid and Disaster Preparedness Training for staff and children.
Requirements / Qualifications
Requirements: Applicants must possess a valid Professional School Nurse Credential or RN; Audiometry Authorization Preferred.
Condition of Employment: Applicants are required to submit to a Department of Justice background check and provide proof of freedom from tuberculosis and vaccination of Measles. • Three recent letters of recommendation • Letter of interest • Current resume
