Marilyn’s Bakery is a full line bakery & cafe. Baking from scratch daily with our farm culture background, our goal is to share our unique homemade tradition and high standards for quality. Marilyn's Bakery is celebrating 40 years in business.
Experienced pastry chefs must demonstrate mastery of preparing and baking pies, cakes, cookies, breads, soups, and donuts. Part-Time and Full-Time available 5am - 2pm. Week-ends and holidays are a must.

We offer $17-$20/hour for hourly experienced pastry chefs. Pay is determined by skill level and production output.
All employees must:
* Work weekends as needed for order production.

Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sweet baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and confections with precision and creativity
- Prepare savory dishes that complement our menu offerings, utilizing fresh ingredients and innovative techniques
- Package finished products efficiently for retail display or catering orders while maintaining food safety standards
- Assist in food production processes, including ingredient measurement, mixing, baking, and plating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support food handling procedures during busy service times to ensure consistent quality and safety standards
Skills
- Extensive pastry experience with a strong background in baking techniques
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen operations within the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
- Skilled in packaging finished products for retail or catering purposes
- Excellent knife skills for precise slicing, dicing, and garnishing
- Experience in food production environments such as bakeries or restaurants
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Familiarity with culinary tools, equipment, and kitchen safety procedures
