Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave, preparing dining areas for the next guests with attention to cleanliness and presentation.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting culinary staff in maintaining an efficient workflow.
- Support catering by providing timely bussing and setup assistance to ensure event success.
- Maintain cleanliness of all food service areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Handle food handling responsibilities safely and responsibly, following proper procedures for hygiene and sanitation.
- Collaborate with team members across the restaurant or hotel environment to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred; experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and bending frequently.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues and guests alike.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including bussing, cleaning, and food preparation.
