Job Summary


The ACE/HOL Success Coach promotes, reinforces, and supports the Early College Program (ECP) by assisting students with overcoming any obstacles to their college success. This position will
facilitate comprehensive student service access for those enrolled in the ACE/HOL Programs. The Success Coach will serve as a program ambassador, offering valuable information about the various resources available at the college.

In order to qualify for a Federal Work-Study (FWS) job, a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be on file for the current award year and have eligible financial needs based on the college requirements. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid for more information prior to applying to a Federal Work-Study job.

  • FWS is a need-based, federally funded program.
  • FWS requires the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and confirmation of federal work-study eligibility as determined by the financial aid office.
  • FWS does not directly pay for tuition, and funds are only available to eligible students attending a minimum of six (6) degree applicable hours in a federal student aid eligible program.
  • The FWS award amount is based on your FAFSA results and college funding availability, which will determine the number of hours available to work while supporting the students academic goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a current student for the 2025-2026 academic year at Glendale Community College
  • Self-motivated, professional, and a team player
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills
  • Be available to work up to 19.5 hours per week
  • Be available to work Saturdays during the Fall and Spring semesters
  • Maintain confidentiality of students and maintain appropriate relationships
