Billing Clerk/Customer Service

Job Summary:

The Billing Clerk will run reports, verify for accuracy, correct any errors. Customer service answering phones as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Run daily reports for services, provided. Verify accuracy. Ensure all routes are closed. Assist closing routes as needed.

· Verifies accuracy of billing data, correcting any errors. Review landfill tonnage reports for accuracy. Check landfill list for accuracy in TRUX.

· Run disposal report on billable and enter customers in monthly reports.

· Run unbilled report (up to date Monthly totals -arrears, monthly advanced, quarterly advanced).

· Print unbilled revenue for monthly arrears. Verify monthly arrears. Correct as necessary.

· Run unbilled revenue monthly arrears, productions, disposal & monthly totals.

· Verify monthly in advance totals to match the month before.

· Perform reporting duties on the 1st and 15th (mid-month)

· Run productivity report for number of loads to input into monthly total.

· Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to solve problems as they arise.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Associate’s degree or vocational school training preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
