Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Waitstaff member to join our vibrant dining and food service team. Duties

• Serve meals and beverages to residents, guests, or customers in a courteous and timely manner, ensuring high standards of food presentation and service.
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and serving in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchens, and food service equipment by cleaning tables, utensils, dishes, and kitchen surfaces regularly.
• Support dietary department staff by helping with meal portioning, bussing tables, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination, including proper sanitation practices during food handling and serving.
• Manage time effectively to ensure all service tasks are completed efficiently during busy meal periods.
• Engage with residents or guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing special dietary needs or preferences as required.

Experience

• Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation standards.
• Experience working in dietary departments or with dietary aide responsibilities is advantageous.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling of food products is essential.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume service times.
• Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is beneficial for supporting meal preparation activities, but we will train the right candidate.

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
