Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate restaurant staff during evening shifts, including servers, cooks, bartenders, and support personnel.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Manage POS systems such as Clover for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Supervise inventory control procedures to minimize waste and ensure the availability of ingredients and supplies.
- Enforce food safety regulations and proper food handling practices across all departments.
- Train new team members on service standards, food safety protocols, and operational procedures through comprehensive staff training programs.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Monitor shift performance, manage budgets, and oversee food production to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct interviewing sessions for new hires and participate in staff scheduling to meet business demands.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment aligned with health regulations and hospitality standards.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on evening shifts.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within casual or fine dining settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for daily operations.
- Demonstrated success in supervising teams, training staff, and developing talent within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and food handling procedures.
- Experience managing budgets, conducting interviews, and leading restaurant management initiatives is highly desirable.
- Prior hospitality management experience in hotel or catering environments will be considered an asset.
