What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barback position at Marcelino’s Boutique Bar?
Bar back job is to prepare the production needed for the menu by following the instruction on the recipe book, and to back up the bartenders with stocks and glassware, garnishes, and makes sure they have everything they need at all times to ensure the smooth operations of the bar. They help with opening and closing duties.
Responsibilities also include:
- Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
- Assisting with opening and closing duties, such restocking the bar with garnishes,straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders have glassware, etc
- To maintain the cleanness of the bar top, and removing dirty glasses and plates.
- Prepare all production needed.
- To Keep Back area and preparation area clean and sanitized on all time.
- Labeling of all syrups and juices in the fridges.
- Communicate with guests and managers using clear and enthusiastic words, toneand body language at all times. Make guests feel appreciated through your actions.
- To attended all trainings and briefing.
- To respect and to listen to higher positions in the restaurant.
- To do deep cleaning as per the schedule.
- Wash & polish bar glassware

- Bartending: 3 years (Preferred)
