Role Description

The Assistant Controller will support financial operations through accounting oversight, budget management, and reporting functions. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, conducting variance analyses, and assisting with audits. The role also involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, payroll operations, and contributing to process improvements within the finance department. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Morrisville, Vermont.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, budget preparation, and variance analysis
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
• Strong skills in financial software systems, including Quickbooks, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; 3 years of experience
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
