We are seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team! This role supports our manufacturing and distribution operations by safely transporting materials to and from our facility and customer sites. The right candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate tractor-trailers and adhere to all DOT regulations.
Transport materials to and from MSI’s manufacturing facility and distribution centers.
Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage.
Maintain accurate truck logs, mileage records, and receipts.
Conduct vehicle inspections and report any defects, safety concerns, or accidents immediately.
Assist with warehouse operations or forklift operation as needed.
Schedule and maintain Outlook calendar for trucking routes and deliveries.
Support special projects or assignments as needed.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
License: Valid CDL Class A driver’s license required.
Experience:
Ability to drive an 18-speed standard transmission truck.
Forklift experience preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication and organization skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Excellent attention to detail and customer service focus.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and problem-solve effectively.
