Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sheet metal and operating precision measuring instruments. If you have a passion for fabricating and assembling metal components, we want to hear from you.
Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape sheet metal
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the specifications for the final product
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
- Adjust machine settings to control speed, material feed, and bend angles
- Inspect finished pieces for conformance to specifications
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with tooling setups and adjustments for different jobs
- Knowledge of CNC machinery is a plus
- Experience with welding, milling machines, or lathes is advantageous
Requirements:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
