Amada Press Brake Operator

Allfab Engineering Co Inc is seeking a skilled Amada & JMT Press Brake Operator for our Phoenix facility. You will program, set up, and operate CNC press brakes directly at the machine console to form all gauges of aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.

Key Responsibilities

·         Programming & Setup: Manually program part sequences, tool selections, and back-gauge settings directly at the Amada and JMT machine consoles.

·         Fabrication: Read blueprints and flat layout schematics to accurately calculate bend allowances and process raw materials.

·         Quality & Safety: Perform first-article and in-process checks using calipers, micrometers, and protractors to hold tight dimensional tolerances.

Qualifications

·         2 years of experience operating and programming CNC press brakes (Amada and JMT strongly preferred).

·         Proven ability to blueprint read, adjust for material spring-back, and select proper tooling.

·         Strong math skills and experience working with all gauges of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.

·         Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
