Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor production schedules and workflows to ensure timely completion of orders and meet production targets.
- Ensure that production processes adhere to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, ensuring they are properly skilled and motivated.
- Address and resolve any production-related issues, such as delays, quality concerns, or equipment failures.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, analyzing performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., quality control, logistics, and maintenance) to ensure smooth workflow and resolve operational issues.
- Assist with inventory control, ensuring the proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, manufacturing workflows, and quality control principles.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, production schedules, and technical documentation.
- Experience with production management software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing production demands.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
