We are looking for dependable Mechanical Assemblers with experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing or production environment. This position works as part of a team on an assembly line building mechanical products and components.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools
- Work on a production/assembly line as part of a team
- Follow computerized work instructions and assembly directions
- Use a computer to access job instructions, specifications, and production information
- Assemble parts and components according to established procedures
- Perform basic quality checks on completed assemblies
- Maintain production standards while focusing on quality and safety
- Keep work area clean and organized
Requirements:
- Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Comfortable working in a team-based assembly line environment
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to follow written and computerized work instructions
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand throughout the shift and perform repetitive assembly work
