We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing team on night shift. This position requires a strong combination of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, along with hands-on experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical production equipment
- Diagnose PLC-related equipment and controls issues
- Perform PLC troubleshooting and programming
- Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, relays, contactors, switches, and control circuits
- Work with VFDs, 3-phase power, electrical panels, and industrial controls
- Repair mechanical systems including conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose equipment failures and minimize production downtime
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
- Document repairs and completed maintenance work
- Follow all plant safety and lockout/tagout procedures
Requirements
- 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting background
- Hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting experience required
- Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC experience strongly preferred
- Experience with VFDs, motors, sensors, and industrial control systems
- Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently
- Must be comfortable working night shift
Pay: $28.00 - $41.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 56.0 per week
