What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Manufacturing Concepts?
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machines (CNC, injection molding, or other manufacturing equipment) to produce parts as per specifications.
- Load materials into machines and ensure machines are set up correctly.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, using basic measuring tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist with machine adjustments, setup, and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior operators or supervisors.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Record production data, including machine settings, production quantities, and quality checks.
- Adhere to production schedules and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior experience needed, though experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to detailed processes.
- Good attention to detail and ability to inspect products for quality.
- Basic understanding of math and measurement tools.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
