We are seeking an experienced and reliable Press Operator to run and maintain a steam heated, lamination press. This position involves loading materials, operating the machine, monitoring production, and ensuring quality finished parts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work safely in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate hydraulic lamination press
- Load and unload materials
- Start, monitor, and stop press runs
- Unload materials and inspect for accuracy and quality
- Clean press and work area regularly
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
- Report machine issues or production problems to supervisor
Requirements:
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and use measuring tools
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in operating hydraulic press
- Experience in lamination of plastics
