Minimum Qualifications
Senior Level
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Plans and directs investigations to identify sources of environmental hazards that affect public health.
- Collect and synthesize data from various scientific disciplines to study the impact of measurements on soil and water sources.
- Validate Technical Reports and recommend actions based on observed data findings.
- Leads the day-to-day coordination of environmental compliance for forward-deployed facilities and utility networks.
- Oversee the integration of environmental monitoring tools and recommend process improvements to increase the efficiency of waste treatment systems.
- Validate environmental After-Action Reports and develop tactical procedures to mitigate theaterwide ecological risks.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Senior Level
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field and 10 years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
- Advanced technical certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field and 3 years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field (relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
- Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) trained or certified.
- Experience with USSOCOM-specific environmental sustainment.
- Background in quality gate oversight for remediation projects.
- Must hold an active Secret clearance
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
