Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

Job description:

A 62 bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Central Falls, RI , on the Central Falls-Pawtucket Line, seeks an Administrator to lead our strong team. The Administrator is responsible for all resident care regulations and business decisions.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

· Active Nursing Home Administrator license in the State of RI

· Two (2) years' healthcare management experience preferred, preferably in post-acute care

· Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

· Positive, friendly communication style with staff

· Value being a team member

· State required health care vaccinations and BCI required

Essential Functions:

· Thorough knowledge of State, Federal regulations and the survey process

· Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.

· Manage budgets. Monitor financial reports and implement corrective action as required.

· Lead, develop and empower department heads who report directly to the Administrator

· Cultivate an environment focused on providing the highest level of care and compassion to our residents

· Must be familiar with Quality Measures. Able to effectively lead the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) team

· Develop and maintain census. Promote and represent the SNF in the community to ensure favorable public relations.

· Facilitate accurate billing and collections

· On-call availability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
