Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Our client, an industry leader in supply chain and procurement solutions, is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join their team. As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist you will be part of the Strategic Sourcing Department supporting global procurement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead commodity negotiations and manage supplier relationships to optimize procurement outcomes.
• Draft, review, and manage contractual documents such as NDAs, Letters, Novations, and Amendments in collaboration with Legal and Contracts teams.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive compliance packages, including supplier scorecards, FAIR data, and SAP updates.
• Manage RFQ packages, process vendor and material master changes, and validate demand data.
• Support system and process improvements by maintaining contract management tools and resolving procurement portal issues.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Contract Management.
• Strong business acumen and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
• Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, and eSourcing platforms, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and project management principles.
• Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Contract Management are preferred.
