Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Mechanic
Location: South Bend, Indiana
What's the Job?
- Support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment in assigned facilities
- Assist Mobile Engineers (HVAC/R) and Control Systems Technicians with maintenance and repair tasks
- Perform general interior maintenance such as HVAC/R coil cleaning, evaporator coil cleaning, and kitchen equipment upkeep
- Handle minor plumbing repairs and other special maintenance tasks including painting, locksmith work, and tenant service requests
- Be on call for after-hours emergencies and ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
- Possession of a valid state driver’s license
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in building repair, maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical work
- Ability to lift at least 80 lbs., climb ladders up to 30 ft, and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and driving
- Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
