Mobile HVAC/R Technician

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile HVAC/R Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC/R Technician, you will be an essential part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Southfield, MI location. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on facility systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring energy efficiency.
• Conduct inspections of interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting, to identify and address issues proactively.
• Utilize technical expertise in HVAC and refrigeration systems, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, update work order statuses, and utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed.
  
  

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3rd Party Certification preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment maintenance.
• HVAC Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
• Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, work from heights, and operate ladders up to 30 feet, often in adverse conditions.
